Make a practical experience of turban tying and able to know the technique which helps to make it

Curriculum Competencies	Use reasoning and technique to tie a turban. They may also know different types of clothes which are especially used in tying a turban.
Content	1.      Make proper folds 2.      Turban tying
Literacy Objectives	1.They will demonstrate understanding of turban tying 2. Analyze the different steps of divisibility rules.

Materials and Equipment Needed for this Lesson          1.      A soft turban cloth 2.      Mirror 3.      Turban pins 4 Laptop

1	Warm-up	Will ask about the people who tie turban?	Will think about people		2 minutes
2	Presentation	Then he will explain about the religious identity with turban Will explain about the cultural expressions of turban Will explain from the safety purpose Divide the students into 4-5 groups and hand them turban cloth. He will tie turban in front of the class and ask them to follow		Will listen carefully Will listen carefully Will listen carefully Activity 1. They will do Pooni (special folds) Activity 2. They will imitate the teacher and try to tie the turban	2 minutes 4 minutes
3	Practice and Production	Will  ask the students about the turban in the context of cultural, religious and safety purpose		Will raise their hands and give the answers	1 minute

Adaptations for English Language Learners

During class discussion, write down the difficult words like Pooni and show them video how to make folds of the turban cloth

Assessment/ Evaluation of Students’ Learning

Diagnostic group activity: What they already know about turban and folds of turban. Teacher can adjust the lesson according that level. Exit slips:  Write about cultural concerns of turban
