Reflection and feedback for micro teaching
The main objective of our micro teaching lesson was to represent two -term and three- term ratios. Especially by identifying examples of two-term and three -term ratios from our real life. As Dr. Susan had already told us in the class to concentrate on one topic , I think we forgot this hint during our micro teaching lesson. we started discussing percentage and fractions as well and eventually we were about to finish our time before finishing our lesson. Secondly, we also seemed a bit off track. As a result, we could not engage the whole class properly in the lesson and we had to finish our lesson quickly. Besides this, I believe that the activity which we chose for the class, was also less interesting. We should use balls instead of piece of papers for activity, which could be more effective. I also believe that our instructions for group activity were not very clear. Next time, we will keep all these weaknesses in our mind so that we could make our lesson interesting and engaging.
Paramvir, you need to say more about the specific things you learned from this micro teaching experience. At present, this blog post is a bit too vague! Please add to the post by discussing your detailed observations about what you might change, adjust, refine, etc. to improve your lesson, and then email me to let me know this is complete.
